Privacy Policy

Overview

Fest Lineup is a tool that helps music event organizers build and rank artist lineups by social media following. Using the workspace requires an invited account. We store your account, lineup, and team membership on our servers, as described below, and never sell your data. We use Google Analytics 4 to count anonymous feature usage if you accept (see Analytics below).

Data We Store Locally

The app stores the following data in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is not sent to us.

• Sign-in session — your Cognito authentication tokens, so you stay signed in between visits.
• Spotify access token — a temporary OAuth token (expires in 1 hour) used to look up artist follower counts via the Spotify API.

You can clear this data at any time by logging out of the app or by clearing your browser's local storage.

Data We Store on Our Servers

Creating an account requires us to store some data on our servers (hosted on Amazon Web Services), scoped to your organization:

• Account — your email address and account ID (managed by Amazon Cognito).
• Lineup data — the artists, platform weightings, and poster settings you create, plus any poster background image you upload, so your work persists between sessions and devices.
• Team membership — the email addresses and roles of the people in your workspace, including pending invites.

Third-Party Services

Your browser or our servers make requests to the following third-party services. Your use of the app is subject to their respective privacy policies.

• Spotify — used for OAuth login and artist search. Spotify Privacy Policy
• Facebook / Instagram (Meta) — used to fetch Instagram follower counts via the Facebook Graph API. Meta Privacy Policy
• YouTube (Google) — used to fetch channel search results and subscriber counts via the YouTube Data API. Google Privacy Policy

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which features are used. We record actions such as moving a platform weighting slider, choosing a poster background or text color, splitting the lineup into days, reordering, locking or editing an artist, adding an artist (including the artist's name), and downloading a poster. We do not send your festival name, tagline, day labels, or any other text you type into the poster; we only record that a field was edited.

Cookies

We use Google Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_<ID>) that hold a random visitor ID, not your name or email. They are only set if you click Accept on the analytics banner. If you decline, Google Analytics is never loaded. You can also block the cookies in your browser settings.

Data Deletion

You can permanently delete your account at any time from the Account page ("Delete my account"). Doing so immediately deletes your lineup data, uploaded poster images, and team membership records from our servers, along with your sign-in credentials. If you own a team, this deletes the team's data and removes all teammates' access. This action cannot be undone. If you'd rather we delete this data on your behalf, email hello@livecreatives.digital.

Children's Privacy

This app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated date at the top of this page will reflect that. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
